Sama was born and raised in Baghdad, Iraq, to Kurdish parents.
She began her career in political journalism at a young age, achieving remarkable success with her work featured in top outlets like BBC News and Voice of America.

At just 14 years old, Sama discovered a profound passion for music, starting by DJing high school parties in Baghdad.

By Autumn 2021, she turned her love for House music into a reality, headlining major venues in North America and Europe, delivering electrifying performances and supporting iconic acts like Black Coffee, Solomun, Francis Mercier, Sparrow, and Barbossa.

Her music is a vibrant fusion of culture, blending her roots and years spent living in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.

From White House journalist to music producer & DJ, she offers a one-of-a-kind experience to the dance floor. As a storyteller at heart, her lively spirit and curated music selection take her audience on an unforgettable journey.
